Hi,

I am trying to get a bet to play between say 6 and 8 for arguments sake and so I use the fixed odds > 6 and fixed odds < 8 conditions but it will still place it outside of this. I used the place bet at best market price - is it something to do with that? Or would it help if I added a last traded price > than condition too?

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it wasn't placed within these odds when your condition were met but the got matched by Betfair at a better price?
The Bet Angel log will tell you what price it placed it at

Also it depends what prices you are testing with the fixed odds condition ie, back, lay or LTP

Generally you want to use the same price type as the bets you are placing, so if your rule is placing a lay bet you should be testing the Lay Price is greater than 6 and less than 8

Hi Dallas,

Yeah it is checking against the same type (both lays).

I've just checked the log and as you say it's matching at a better price as the market dropped. Is there any way around this at all?

Also I'm trying to get the volume % to work in a way that it compares it to the volume % say 20 seconds ago. I can see how I can have them as stored values but how would I then compare the two values X seconds apart please?

Thanks.
