Without knowing what sanctions are in the pipeline there is a risk of some sort that Chelsea FC could end up on the government balance sheet. His legal advice was probably to step back but I can't imagine what difference it would make as he still owns the club.

Don't think Kante will give Thiago much time on the ball in midfield.

That's an interesting angle. Thiago struggled to adapt to the EPL but has improved a lot. Kante was a midfield "force of nature". But I confess I've lost my view of Kante recently. But it could be a good old ding-dong in the middle. Could be mouth-watering or totally insipid. I'm biased, so LFC 2-1. :-)

Yeah he's definitely improved. Needs time on the ball to be at his best though and he's not the best tackler in the world 😬

Also being biased I'd prefer a 4-0 demolition but I'll take a 1-0 bore fest :D Not sure I'd be up to penalties!

Streuth! Jurgen looks totally knackered. Is that Covid or a weekend bender?

Keita for Thiago. Different but competent. This is the difference for LFC fans now. We can drop good players in for others. Rats! Just jinxed us!

Extra time not helpful to either of these teams.

not sure my nerves can take much more of waiting for the linesman to raise his flag

The sooner linesmen are replaced with machines the better!

:D Top job by the boy. He's been great when given the opportunity. There's a good keeper in the making.

Surely never has there been a penalty shootout where the keepers have been so irrelevant.....

Until its their turn to take one! :D
