Today Score race 4 has been delayed from 3:05 to 4:20. Betfair have changed their timetable, however I note that when using Guarding, it still updates at 3:05 and this doesn't change in excel.

How can I have my bot attempt to place bets only a certain number of minutes before start time when the race start times change? At the moment my bot is trying to make bets 1.5 hours before the race!

The 'start time' cell for a market in Guardian is editable. So any time a race is delayed (whether betfair update the start time or not) you can click on the start time in Guardian's list of markets and change it to whatever you want.

The countdown timer (and the value sent to Excel) will then update to reflect your adjusted start time.

is there a any way why this isnt automatic? so I cant put my code and bot in at the start of the day and not have to be checking races all the time to make sure that races aren't delayed? (defeats the purpose of a bot really)

No, there is no data feed that auto corrects. Races can slip for any reason and no service provides an automated update.

websites provide changes in start times. Dynamic odds does changes in start times, why can't betangel?

Because we don't provide the feed or the API, you need to lobby Betfair or Betdaq. Barking up the wrong tree here. We can't control the information you see. No matter how many times you ask, we can't actually implement what you are looking for.

Hey there, just checking if this is still the case?

I notice that for today's Alice spring races they got delayed and race 4 was delayed by an hour , I went into guardian and did a Market Selection and it was showing the correct time in the list , any way of automatically getting it to update in the markets I've already selected?

What I had to do today was remove the markets from guardian and then add them and that fixed it up, so it seems like the data is being updated by betfair.

Betfair AUS are really good at updating start times. The only way you can get the new start times is to do as you have. But Betfair has activity discouraged us from auto-refreshing the market tree. So it's not something we can implement as a feature.
