Sky News has reported claims that Ukrainians have been killing Russians in Donbas, they just don't have any evidence, eye-witnesses, mobile phone vids, etc. to confirm it. Plenty of footage of Russian cruise missiles falling on civilians. You'd probably educate yourself if you watched the news instead of searching the internet for stories you want to believe. Confirmation bias is a trader's downfall.alexmr2 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 1:23 amThe current narrative is that Putin is the bad guy and Ukraine is the good guy, but obviously there's more to it. It's hard to follow and difficult to know what's true but I heard that Putin's objective was to put a stop to the war in Donbas where Ukranians have also been killing Russians and civilians, yet this isn't what the fakestream media are reporting.
Ukraine Crisis
I’m not & never have been worried about you Derek… I can’t stand how your mind is so ignorant… you’ve always been the person that chooses a side over humanity. What’s correct, left, right or reality. Zelensky is a monster, he’s killing his own civilians while the west cheers him on. Pigs. Give 10k ordinary people a rifle to fight against an organised army… they’re lambs to the slaughter. It’ll make great news though.
Lol, the guy in the video is quite literally called Coach Red Pill. I've actually heard of the guy before, MGTOW member, moved to Ukraine because he couldn't land a western woman or something. Never thought I'd see this type of content posted on a trading forum.
But whatever happened to everyone's personal choice, the whole point of it, the choice of either taking the "red pill" (learning a potentially unsettling or life-changing truth etc) or the "blue pill" (staying blissfully ignorant etc). All I see nowadays is it's being forcefully shoved down everyone's throats, or freely passed around like it's candy. And people wonder why they're getting labeled as conspiracy nutters.
Either way, it doesn't bode well for the future of this thread
Given my recent rants about listening to music on YouTube, I'm sure James knew I'd have my headphones on and the only thing I'd look at is the length of the video, so clearly it wasn't intended for me. I trust the rest of the forum will take Monday morning/afternoon off trading to watch James' gripping videos, and having watched them they'll be completely changed people with a whole new look on the world.
Maybe World Special Operations 3 won't be a bad thing after all.
You should watch David Icke instead of the news, he will teach you the truth. The news is just all actors and special effects. Sky News reporters even let off some firecrackers to pretend they were being shot atDerek27 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 1:45 amSky News has reported claims that Ukrainians have been killing Russians in Donbas, they just don't have any evidence, eye-witnesses, mobile phone vids, etc. to confirm it. I've actually criticised Zelensky myself further back this thread for encouraging untrained/unfit civilians to take on trained soldiers and T-90 tanks with bullets and petrol bombs. But I don't believe all those Ukrainians are taking up arms with the determination that they have simply because their leader asks them to. They have a determination to defend their country that perhaps we don't understand, sitting thousands of miles away. If the UK was in Ukraine's predicament I reckon most of us would expect to carry on trading and drinking beer while our brave military defends us.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 1:51 amI’m not & never have been worried about you Derek… I can’t stand how your mind is so ignorant… you’ve always been the person that chooses a side over humanity. But the fact that you appear angry with the leader of an innocent country under attack for his method of trying to defend his country rather than the deranged lunatic who's ordered his military to indiscriminately kill innocent civilians who are trying to flee the country is true to form. If everybody on here supported the Russians you would side with Ukraine. If the Earth was under attack by aliens you and Alex would be siding with the aliens and posting endless links to websites and videos of other idiots with beards talking about why the aliens are correct.

Their exchange could have better customer service and more liquidity
Sorry gents but lets not kid ourselves, there is no moral high ground to be had here and I'm afraid you're all guilty of hypocrisy like the rest of us. I don't see anyone joining the Ukrainian International Legion or creating "Yemen Crisis" threads. Perhaps instead of posting about morals on forums you might consider just living that way. Because pretending to have virtues, qualities, opinions etc that you don't actually have doesn't sound very moral at all, or healthy. I think at that point the only "moral" thing to do is to accept the notion that you might be immoral as well, if that makes any flipping sense
Whether we live in a democracy or a hypocrisy, the world is far from being black and white.

Controversy = Activity
What else is there to do on a public forum honestly, than to take a break from the mundane that is the market
Kai,
I have no problem with controversy - in fact, i would welcome rational discourse on topics of interest. My comment was not directed at you - my concerns centre on the meaningless exchanges and posts that are probably better suited to the "Twitterverse" than this forum. When I started trading in 2007 BA did not have a forum, so I read the forum on a rival trading app. Unfortunately, that forum descended into vitriolic and bitter exchanges, and then sunk even lower when posts of pornographic material appeared. I am far from prudish, but I fail to see why a post on a forum has to begin with an expletive. Some 10 years ago it was possible to engage in interesting and respectful discussion on many topics - even with the legendary Jeff.
I would have thought that there would be enough intelligent people on this forum to be able to discuss topics at a more elevated level than has appeared recently.
