When I was a teenager I loved a good topical debate, aka argument, but these days I've got better things to do like trading. Despite stopping trading and getting into an argument on here for hours I don't intentionally start or look for one. I prefer to relax and chill out over a drink. Similar thoughts about having a drink with Alex. He's well reserved and never gets abusive but when somebody disagrees for the sake of it what's the point in having a discussion?

I fear the only thing stopping Russia now is destroying Kyiv. A city that is equally important to Ukrainians an Russians. By all accounts it is a beautiful, historic city. Destroying it for the minimal gain for either side would be pyrhhic indeed.
And in IMO the whole operation is pointless.
If Russia win, Ukrainians will despise Russia forever.
There was never any possibility of Nato attacking Russia from Ukraine or Poland or Estonia et al. This is just Putin writhing under the certain knowledge that he's squandered Russia's future for years now.
How great could Russia have been?
The last vestiges of communist totalitarianism are regressing European politics by decades.

But the real question is which Peter was he referring to? It could be PeterLe, Peter Jackson or some other forum Peter, we just don't know.
