Hi,
I am very new to Bet Angel. What I would like to do is auto lay a selection with an odds range of 3.5 to 6.5. Having laid the selection I want to auto trade it out if the odds are 2 ticks above. As I have identified the selection to lay as a good lay bet, I am not bothered if it does not trade and will let the lay stand. When I set it up, it fires off a lay bet but it is not yet matched. It then fires off the trade bet offset and it gets matched.. which is NOT what I want. I only want the corresponding back bet to fire ONLY if the lay bet was matched

Any ideas
Thanks

If I understand you correctly you would like to place a lay bet and if matched then put through a back bet with 2 ticks profit and if both lay & back get matched then you get a your profit and lay is matched but not back matched then you don't mind going in play as your comfortable with a lay bet going through the end. If that's the case then you can use spreasheet with the bet rule something like

LAY OFFSET:2 FILL_KILL:TRUE FILL_DELAY:30

this will put a lay bet and if matched within 30 second it will place back bet that's two ticks away. If it doesn;t get matched in 30 seconds then it will cancel lay bet and won't put through a back bet in which case you will have to repeat this until lay is matched.

Or you can place a lay bet without delay but with 2 ticks offset but you will have to lay at current lay price.

Thanks for the reply,
yes that is exactly what I require. I have not ventured into excel spreadsheet betting yet but I do know excel, so I guess I can go into practice mode while I try the commands out.

And yes, I do not mind it staying as a lay as they are very weak selections. So, at this point in time, I am not trading as such.. just trying to enhance my normal betting until I learn the ins and outs of just trading for profit.

Your reply was excellent and I can see now how it would work.
Thank you so much
