You can zoom in using mouse scroll bar and holding control key on keyboard, the only downside is that other browser tabs zoom in as well so I normally have a seperate instance of chrome running

Firefox gives you the picture-in-picture function which allows video to be kept on top and resized, very useful

There is a thing called full screen anything which works well on sky racing

Just guessing cos I don't use it, but you can cast a Chrome browser session to your telly if you've got a Chormecast dongle. TV's are cheaper than monitors (esp if you've run out of monitor outputs on your graphics card), and it's handy to have one in the office anyway.
