Basic BAF file

Does anyone have a basic baf file where It just puts a price into the market, likley lower than whats offered, and if matched does a 1 tick offset, once the market goes in play it stops?

Im really new with these automation scripts and not quite sure what I had to add, I know for sure its basic.

Also, say i have 100s of markets, is there an easy way in Guardian to apply this file to everything, rathet than clikc and select it on every line?

If you want to create a simple rules file, there's no need to download a complex one and add to it (or more likely strip it to bare bones). You need to create one from scratch. It's only 2-3 rules. Spend some time looking at the manual. It may be long but once you understand the basics you'll have no problem putting together simple and more advanced baf files.

You only need a 'Fixed odds' condition on your place back or place lay bet rule to test the price has reached your required price

The offset bet etc can be configured on the 'Parameters' tab (ensure you also use fill/kill to prevent the offset being placed until your opening bet is matched

thnks, complete school boy here, I cant actually work out how to start a fresh rules file, the help markets always want you to link it to a live event and then that rules file is obsesed with that event and market as opposed to just the market, in my case, over 0.5 goals.

like this, i cant get away from it, i just want a blank rule file, as when i try and use it on other markets it understandibly says the names dont match.

Automation needs to be attached to a market, you can’t just open a new file.
Im guessing your using the selection as a name.
Use the selection as a row not as a name.
Row 1 is under
Row 2 is over

got that sorted. All im trying to do is make it place lay bets at fixed prices in a market, if they dont get matched i dont care, but i just want an easy way of placing this in every selected market

Ok, now issue is, how do i make sure that once my lay has been accepted and only when its been accepted, does my greening fire and stick around? dont like when it fires at the same time?

Tick the (place fill or kill ) box at the top left of the main BA interface. Then change the seconds delay to 99999.
You may want to offset in batches as well. Just in case you only get part matched.
You also have the option to not offset and add a separate green rule to your automation.

thanks, it does seem quite a simple desire yet it seems an akward way around it?

How does the seperate green rule on the automation work? What am i doing there? Setting the time to 99999 wont work, cos what if its matched and then it only takes 5 mins from matching to hit my 2 tick desired offset, i dont want to wait a fixed time...

You don't need a green up rule when using offset bet with greening option you mentioned above

If you wanted to use a green up rule instead of offsetting from your opening bet then you just set the time its to be armed for, the number of times you want it to trigger and then add whatever conditions you want to include

There'll be just as many possibly more who want both placing at the same time so one way needs to be the default the other would need enabling

Ok, so, if i set my thing to fire 10 mins before start time, and i set my offset to 11 mins delay on the fill or kill i can live with that.

However

However, how do i set it so my trigger stops 1 min before the game goes inplay, if nothing matched, then no need for the 2 tick offset, IF however its matched, how do i make sure the offset fires and not "stops" effectivly?

Arm the rule to trigger from 00:10:00 till 00:01:10
use any time for your fill/kill as long as its over 530secs (as thats how long the rule could be armed for with the above times)

Add a 'Cancel unmatched bets on selection (price dependant)'
and on the parameters tab configure it to cancel all back or lay bets (whatever type of opening bet you are placing)

Im laying 0.5 goals in footy. Im firing in a lay price IF im lucky it will get matched, *if* it gets matched i cant cancel all unmatched bets as I need that 2 tick offset to sit in the inplay market for arounf d 8-10 mins, this is the dilema, if im cancelilng anything unmatched Ill either match nothing and be fine, or match my lay, and cancel my offset which will also likely lose me money!
