Greening Up Issue

Is there any way to disable the greening button to the right of the greening scales on the ladder?

In gappy markets when you've placed loads of bets it is such a dangerous live button - even though Peter often seems to use it in his videos to green-up, I would like to be able to disable it.

It can't be disabled but you can drag it to another location on the top of your screen out of the way if you feel you might mis-click it on occasions

Im actualy having an issue with this again, im betting the under market on a football match, so I back at 1.2 or something then ill want to lay at 1.18 to green up


The offset doesnt do this, ive got these settings, i think it fires some bets at like 1.22 but they dissapear and the market is moving the wrong way?

Sounds like you are clicking in the wrong place on the ladder to place the bet you want

Perhaps post a screenshot of that and show where you are clicking?

Maybe also include the log

Well if a price is offered at 1.2 to back unders, im clicking the 1.2 to get my money automatically matched. or the empty blue box above in case anyone offers 1.21

If you are taking the current price then your opening bet will immediately be matched and you'll just see the unmatched offset lay bet placed at whatever ticks you've specified

Also just checking you do have the blue cog icon uncrossed so that 'Global Settings' are enabled?

Took me a minute to find but the blue cog *is* crossed. Ill find a market in a minute and post log and screenshot.

That needs uncrossing to enable Global Settings (which are the options on the left side on the main ribbon)

Think thats working perfectly now, what does that cog mean/do?

Also, is there anyway that I can make sure once my bet is matched, which for this purpose is a back, the lay which is generated is a "keep" bet without me manually adjusting it, but I dont want any back bets waiting to get matched to be keeps, only the auto generated bet, does that make sense?

First part is explained in my last reply

You can create a safety servant to do this, all it needs is a 'Keep unmatched bets (price dependant) rule
then on the parameters tab configure it to just keep lay bets above 1.01

Or there's a ready-made example here which takes SP on the only the offset/closing side of the bet, you'd just need to change the rule type it uses from Take SP to Keep unmatched bets

That was made before the rule type 'keep unmatched bets (price dependant)' was added so works slightly differently as explained in the thread
