You're probably better off looking at the rules & regs, I'd guess it will be in there.

Yep, I once had to explain how their base rate discounts work. When they stopped the discounts on UK markets, they didn't know UK customers still got them on Antipodean markets or even that we still accrued reward points on UK markets. And then I had to explain how to get to your points statement (luckily I'd bookmarked it) because they'd removed it from the UK site dropdown on the assumption that UK customers had no need to know about them anymore.

Tbf they're just working from a script, these mln wage guys and girls at call centre don't get much training at all. And we here don't have the usual sort of questions, we're that 1% who really use Betfair so what seems basic to us is probably fairly niche... No excuse but a reason?

But this is why it's so bl**dy annoying it's so hard for us to get an account manager, in Aus when someone has a slightly leftfield question they ask their PM rather than some poor schmuck in regular Joe based CS.
