Ukraine Crisis

How many Russians does it take to change a lightbulb? Two – one to bribe the concierge, and one to have a sudden midlife career change from soldier to standup comedian.
To suggest the UK or US government would blow up their own people or assets would be a conspiracy theory. To suggest Russia may do it isn't. They're sending thousands of untrained, ill-equipt and unprepared conscripts to their death. So it's backed up with solid reasoning, unlike CTs.
It was a Mi-24, used by both, Russia and Ukraine.

Yep. Question is, Ukraine has not used arial firepower since this all started, so why now.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 12:52 amIt was a Mi-24, used by both, Russia and Ukraine.

Something smells here.
They've been using Mig jets at the start and keep asking the west for more, but for some reason they've been put away. I haven't heard of their jets getting destroyed.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 12:56 amYep. To do that using relatively slow helicopters, compared to jets is just nuts. Thee we Ukrainians are not that stupid. Must have been staged by that Russian toy soldier brigade or their Boy Scouts.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 1:00 amThey've been using Mig jets at the start and keep asking the west for more, but for some reason they've been put away. Russian President Vladimir Putin [aka wanker] signed a decree on Thursday ordering 134,500 new conscripts into the army as part of Russia's annual spring draft amid its war with Ukraine.

There isn't a very logical statement, you are assuming that the west is devoid of all wrongdoing because of what the west told you through their media channels. You don't even have to look far into the past to see that the west is capable of all sorts of atrocities. Evil didn't magically disappear one day just because we are a civilised society. The true leaders of the west are also cold-blooded, you may even call them lizards.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 12:41 amTo suggest the UK or US government would blow up their own people or assets would be a conspiracy theory. Believe it or not there are benefits to government in crises which negatively impact the population of that country.
Russia seems to have taken over a lot of ground for apparently doing so badly.
Maybe because the UK government and media are following the 10 rules of war propaganda
1. We don't want war, we are only defending ourselves
2. The other guy is the sole responsible for this war
3. Our adversary's leader is evil and looks evil
4. We are defending a noble purpose, not special interest
5. The enemy is purposefully causing atrocities; we only commit mistakes
6. The enemy is using unlawful weapons
7. We have very little losses, the enemy is losing big
8. Intellectuals and artists support our cause
9. Our cause is sacred
10. Those who doubt our propaganda are traitors
I'm not pro Russia or Ukraine but understand that things are more complex than a super biased one sided narrative where everyone cheers for death to Russians, people tend not to kill others for no reason so there's every chance Putin was only doing this to stop the ongoing fighting since 2014.
I would rather that they all just played football and hung out on the beach drinking beer, and that we also done that instead of fighting each other in the war of pre-off markets

You're talking complete bollocks, as usual. The only person doing any assuming is you. I don't assume that my friends, neighbours, politicians, even that dickhead BJ wouldn't drive a tank into my neighbourhood and indiscriminately shell the houses. I know they wouldn't because I know them well enough to draw that conclusion. Putin, on the other hand, is happy to send tens or hundreds of thousands of Russians to their deaths, we know for a fact that he's bombing civilians, hospitals, etc. We have videos that have been independently verified, so there is evidence and logic behind my thinking. You're the one who believes whatever you want to hear so you don't understand the rest of us are capable of rational thought, so you assume we believe anything we hear on MSM unconditionally.alexmr2 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 5:50 amThere isn't a very logical statement, you are assuming that the west is devoid of all wrongdoing because of what the west told you through their media channels. I'm surprised you're not claiming the war itself is fake news.

Sean Penn on Twitter : "By open source, 2 squadrons of F-15’s or 16’s (that’s 12 aircraft with better tech than Russian Migs or SU’s) quickly trainable (3 weeks) to Ukrainian aviators would cost private sector buyers approx $300M. Add another $200M in missile defense for a total of $500M. One billionaire could end this war in Ukraine. Of course there are add-ons in arming & maintaining creative runways, etc., but seems worth a think."
Putin's own brother Viktor, a one-year-old at the time, died when the Germans sieged and starved Leningrad during WW2.

What would we do without movie stars and musicians to tell us how we should feel and what we should do to make the world a better place.

Putin has thyroid cancer.
I hope he suffers a horrible and very painful death. Hopefully in a prison somewhere and forced to eat his own shit and drink his own piss.

Didn't he recently win a philanthropist of the year award or something for his charity work though? Seems to be doing more than we are if he went to Ukraine to set up humanitarian aid. My only contributions in comparison are purchasing a video game charity bundle and making a few memes out there for Reddit.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 10:02 amAh yes Sean Penn.. that well known and respected military strategistKai wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 9:03 amSean Penn on Twitter : "By open source, 2 squadrons of F-15’s or 16’s (that’s 12 aircraft with better tech than Russian Migs or SU’s) quickly trainable (3 weeks) to Ukrainian aviators would cost private sector buyers approx $300M. I think he may have a point there, to at least get this conversation rolling. We all know this war will be won or lost in the air, Zelensky has been screaming for air defense support since the start to no avail, as much as we'd like to provide them with some aircraft this may escalate things with Russia so the private sector could be one of the few remaining options.
Hell, just this morning I've seen the official Ukrainian Air Force Twitter making a 16 page thread to combat the western propaganda on how we think the war is going, basically saying they aren't winning as easy as we make it sound and that they can't do it without aircraft : https://twitter.com/KpsZSU/status/1509619177656619013
