Hi all,

Im am playing around with "Create a No Lose Trade on fav & Profit on the field" shared file, and testing it on the US racing. Because they take forever to start a race sometimes the fav/shortest price can change before the off, which results in the lay bet being triggered on a different selection to the on initially backed. Leaving me with 2 straight bets, one bacl and one lay.

I am trying to place the lay bet at the same time, or 1 second apart from the back bet, and would like to keep it in play if not matched. Seems simple enough looking at other shared files e.g. scalping automation etc. but it doesnt fire when I want it to, actually it doesn't fire at all.

CAn anyone see what I am doing wrong?

TIA

(just for comparrison i've attached the back bet settings which are created already in the shared file)

Hi,
If that is not firing the back bet, my best guess would be it is due to refresh rates ??

Couple of things

1) unless its changed recently a lot (maybe most) of US tracks don't allow in-play betting, so check the ones you are trading do go in-play
2) US races can go off whenever they are ready and this is quite often well before the official start time - sometimes up to 10-15mins before, the arm times you are using for your rules means they could only trigger on races that go off sometime after there official start time

I think Ive just reported a post  it contains my reply to 'eatyourgreens' lol  Sorry !

Thanks Dallas,
How can I check what US races allow in-play?
Even though the lay bet isnt firing, it was still greening up when >75p, so Im guessing in play is allowed. Although I am in practice mode if that makes a difference.

Wowzers... 10-15mins early!!!! So maybe only armed during pre-off, until goes in play, then hedge position?

I was trying to create one file that could run on all racing over a 24hr period, but now Im thinking probably better to have different automation to run on different racing time zones.

Just remembered... the lay bet wasn't firing on Wolverhampton races either, so not just US.

Can I keep a pre-off unmatched bet into event start/in-play using automation?

Or do I have to place the bet at the start (00:00:00) of my desired period i.e. before/after event start/in-play?

Thanks :geek:

[Update]
Ive just started the automation course in the academy and was looking at conditions. If its not possible to carry an unmatched bet over to in-play, could I create two rules; 1) to place a back bet and lay bet pre off, then if the lay(closing) bet has not been matched at in-play, kill it. Then 2) place new lay(closing) bet of the same stake in-play 00:00:05?

If this is doable; how do you use the first rule as a condition to fire or not, the second rule? Signals? :?:

TIA
