Seemed to only last a short while, was just a few blips so could have been my end or theirs.

Stand down chaps ;)

Something is wrong with the Betfair website so I'm just worried the API may follow? Cannot load any horse racing markets on the website.

Just loaded it myself but for about 4-5 minutes it wouldn't load any cards. The site was up but the cards wouldn't appear and I wanted to check the late non-runner at Warwick.

It's loading now so let's hope it was just a blip.....another one!

I awoke to a few tweets from betfair last night, the site was down for a few hours in the early hours of this morning, maybe a day to be cautious!

14.35 not suspended until well into the race and never put inplay. Maybe down to the loss of pictures but I could see it on my TV from 4 furlongs so not sure why BF couldn't.

Andy

What do you think Betfair will do? Their usual line is that all bets placed after the "official" off time will be voided. If consistency and customer focus is their supposed aim then surely they will follow that line?

I guarantee they won't though because I had just laid Haylaman for £200 and placed my closing back bet after the "official" off time to accept a loss! If they follow their normal methods then I will be £200 ahead!

Betfair, normal practice, customer service...nah, who am I kidding!!

They should by rights as you say have cancelled all bets placed after the official off time. Not a clue what they did do as I left it well alone when the pictures went and we approached the off time just in case such a thing happened. Learnt from past errors.

How did it end up for you?

Unfortunately non API mode is not working either. This looks like ANOTHER full blown crash. This is totally beyond a joke now.
