Whats going on with so many West Ham fans leaving early?! Have they got another European semi final to go to or something?

Ah of course that will be it. You know it might help if somebody issued a handy booklet on what qualifies you as a 'True' fan.Kai wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 10:58 amBet their not even from East LondonTrader Pat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 10:01 pmWhats going on with so many West Ham fans leaving early?! Like you can only be a Newcastle fan if you're a big fat bald bloke who loves getting his belly out and sings Fog on the Tyne all day; All West Ham fans must eat jellied eels for breakfast and to be a Man Utd fan you have to be a miserable git who bangs on about 1999 more than Prince ever did.

I blame the owners; nearly all foreigners you know. What makes them believe they're qualified to own an English football club when they don't even know the difference between a crumpet and a muffin!
Get rid of the lot of them. Kick em out that's what I say!!
Must admit I didn't know what the phrase was.
Down South we have scummers and skates. I've never really seen the need for it, but accept it's become part of football culture to use the these terms for close rivals. I've been called worse.
Same, don't really care much but others can easily take offense.
I actually know about the rivalry with Pompey, I did a Saints save 10+ years ago in Football Manager because they had excellent youth prospects so looked into it, think I conquered England and Europe with them. But wasn't as fun as taking Vauxhall Motors FC to the prem

Yeah suppose it had to be done at some point though. The squad is deeper than it's ever been under Klopp so changes will have to be made at some point.
Compared to City's bench the other night I think we're in a really good place.

It's a tough algo to crack the squad rotation for a quad tilt I reckon. It does seem slightly risky today though ..depends if the Klopp contract gives the team a boost we shall see. Think the cup treble is more than on. Just the prem to burgle for the full house....... Liverpool are coming home with a wet sail, its an amazing run to be fair. On the right side of tight games (unlike the early part of the season) On the ropes at the Etihad but still standing, still swinging. Drama today in the sunshine. Should be a great run in. And no not another Liverpool fan just a sports fan.

Ye, they probably thought going against Saint-Maximin would be too intensive for Trent at this point in the fixture list, it's a big test for Gomez. But if quad/treble talk ends today it could release a bit of pressure elsewhere
Pep has been clever with Gabriel Jesus, since he couldn't really play and produce for the team now he is playing for his future and can't stop scoring, that could very well be the decisive detail in the race
Fully agree, it's all very good for the neutrals, nobody wants to see any team run away with it early
