Is there any way to definitively tell when a spike is shown on the volume bars (chart) if its a lay or back bet?
I know you can sometimes tell with how the price reacts but not always.
Is there someway of automating it using storing values somehow??
thanks
Was it a back or Lay??
In theory you could keep a running tally of the back & lay prices and test for each spikeAndyIsHere wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 1:48 amIs there any way to definitively tell when a spike is shown on the volume bars (chart) if its a lay or back bet?

You can try to link traded vol changes with where the price was at the time but it's not reliable because of the refresh rate....been there. If you're one tick out you 'see' it as being the wrong side.
