Spare a thought for those City fans who booked flights and hotels in Paris when Mahrez scored

I suspect last nights result is either going to spur them on to destroy everyone in there remaining games now - or the wheels will fall completely off at just the wrong time for them (but right time for usTrader Pat wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 10:04 pmExcuse me while I go lay the fu*k out of City for the Premier Lge title

Yeah shame they're not playing on the Saturday, the extra day might be huge. Will be interesting to see how we respond to it too.Dallas wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 12:34 pmI suspect last nights result is either going to spur them on to destroy everyone in there remaining games now - or the wheels will fall completely off at just the wrong time for them (but right time for usTrader Pat wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 10:04 pmExcuse me while I go lay the fu*k out of City for the Premier Lge title

I thought what I said about City might have fallen foul of the forum filter.

Sadly politics are always mixed up with football
Like people not wanting Liverpool to win because they dislike the local Scousers for political reasons etc, they can't appreciate a top squad of humble likeable characters built the right way through shrewd investing and coaching and local youth, a club that built its rich history on footballing genius, like Utd as well.
But then again my dislike for City is political as well for sportswashing reasons, even if the sensible ones among us admire Pep's genius and how he evolved the beautiful game further, it's no surprise to see Klopp and Pep highfiving every time they see each other like they're best mates. But different city and club cultures is really good for football and it's what makes it so interesting, even if blinded tribalism can take things too far on occasion.
One for Dallas btw, a familiar Beatles tune
