Pep Guardiola mic drop

Not surprised Tuchel agrees with Pep's overall opinions : "When he trained Dortmund, the whole country loved Dortmund. So now he trains Liverpool and you have the feeling the whole country loves Liverpool."

As if Jurgen Klopp's job is to be likeable, lmao. His only job is to be himself and the right people will gravitate towards that, because he makes them feel good, which is likeability in a nutshell, but only for the right reasons.

Tbh I've read all sorts of stories about Tuchel's career thus far, how he was recommended by Klopp to be his successor etc, he really followed in his footsteps by going to Mainz and Dortmund, and everywhere he went the people drove him mad by saying "but Jurgen did this, Jurgen did it that way". Didn't help how Klopp beat him in that legendary Europa game etc, with emotional football where Lovren scored the last-gasp winner.

I'm enjoying these bum markets. I just got a 20-tick scalp. :D
Since you invited 20 traders next time you'll get a 1-tick scalp. Maybe ;)
It might be for 20 times as much though. :D

Sorry Pep, you'd get a lot more credit if you did it without all the lavish spending, as the Yanks would say you can't have your cake and eat it too.

I'm giving Pep 10/10 for his comeback on Evra & Berbatov :D

That should put Evra back in his phonebox!

That's a good point.

The lack of British managers is also concerning, they don't seem to get the same oppos as their foreign counterparts, there appears to be a clear bias. Eddie Howe could get on that list in a few years time, I've already seen him moaning about FFP rules yesterday.

I think there'll be more scrutiny on Newcastle's spending because of Man City and what they've gotten away with and also because of who the owners are but from 2024 the top 5 in the league will qualify for the Champions Lge so it shouldn't be too difficult even if you're not spending £200m a season.

To be fair the only club that got away with buying success was Blackburn. Jack Walker local lad made good etc.... but if that had turned into a serial title winning dynasty then that would also have been unacceptable :) :D

Y, lost all its appeal in recent years just like the tournament itself really - which is a shame, and I remember how I used to love FA cup final day when I was growing up

But he were go again aboard the rollercoaster of torture for the next few hours

Just realized Chelsea have lost this final in the previous 2 seasons  Third time lucky??

It's just a shame we only play United twice a season

Y, no team has ever lost three FA finals in a row - I'm routing for Chelsea to break that record this afternoon
