When the jockey didnt front run i thought strange normally front runs maybe new tactic.
I think the saddle was meant to break earlier in the race and when it didnt you see the jockey at the end of the race moving about oddly to get the saddle to break.
sounds far fetched i know but racing is all about money.
so i will never trust T P Queally again.

I can only assume you backed Vita Nova and have also never ridden a horse?
If the saddle starts to slip you have two choices.
1. Sit like a church mouse and hope you survive. You need superb balance and on a horse travelling around 30 mph it is anything but easy.
2. Get your feet out of the irons because if it slips to one side you are going to fall off and hit the ground hard!
The mistake Tom Queally made (if you can call it a mistake) was not getting his feet out of the irons earlier and riding cowboy style.
To suggest they would fix a race with the prestige of the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks is absurd.

I'm pleased that the 3rd post was removed from this thread as I thought the language was disgraceful. My young niece is here and if she had seen that I would have had to explain the difference between "your" and "you're".
It then would have gone into the whole "there vs their" and "where vs were vs we're" and who knows where it would have ended up.
Thanks to the BA admins for saving me from my trading afternoon diminishing into an English grammar lesson.

I wish I was 25 and lived in California. Sadly I am almost twice that age!
