Hope someone can help. I have set up an automated system for Greyhound races in which I bet to win (liability), it is currently set at 2nd best price in order to have more chance of the bet matching, however due to betting to a specific liability I effectively end up overstaking on most bets as the best price is achieved. Is there a way to set it to best price, then if the bet is unmatched it goes again to try and place at the now best price?

Similarly sometimes I am unmatched at 2nd best price so would be helpful to know if I can tell the system to try again a few seconds later.

Other question was is there a way to bulk export rules files? I have to manually create around 100 each day from a basic template and once done would like to be able to send all the rules files without individually downloading them.

Many thanks in advance

Really long shot final question, I can set a parameter to only place a bet if there are 6 runners, this means I don't have to manually check for non runners throughout the day however when a reserve is added BetAngel doesn't know this. The selection is displayed with a "(R)" after the name, is there any way for a parameter to check for (R) in selection names?

Forgetting the other question, why are you having to create 100 rules files daily ? My assumption would be you are setting one per runner, with differing fixed prices and other criteria you will enter on ?

If that's the case then why not use a CSV import file to set those criteria as SVs for each runner on a separate row and then have just one rule you never need to change.
Then all you need to do is edit the CSV each day

Hi, thanks for the response, yes each individual runner has a separate bet to win (liability), I have a template that has all the rules etc and just update the liability. It's very time consuming as you can imagine. My original idea was to do this using Excel but someone from BetAngel suggested this might be too complex? I'm pretty good with Excel so any pointers how to do this would be greatly appreciated!

You don't even need Excel, except as an editor for the csv. Take a look here

https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/set ... ters_.html

Create a line per dog and then set an SV value that is used in he rule when the dog name is matched with a runner

Thanks, I have had a play but i'm not sure A) if i'm filling in SV correctly or B) how to connect my SV file to guardian.
