When I was on jury service one of the barristers made the same mistake. It's just as well I had a face mask on as I was struggling to hold back my laughter.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 11:15 amElliot Chappell being interviewed live on the BBC called 'Jeremy Hunt' - 'Jeremy C?nt'. Smarkets did some modelling and it predicted a Penny Mordaunt victory if she is in the last 2 based on how the membership will vote using an array of data inputs. No idea how accurate it is.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 1:26 pmOn second thoughts, she sounds like a right bitch, I'd rather have Liz.
A poll suggests if Mordaunt gets to the last two she wins!
She keeps talking about Mrs 'T' and some have said she will be more iron willed than her.

She said she'll run the economy like Thatcher. The first thing that springs to mind is the Poll Tax, widespread rioting, mass refusal to pay, people not registering where they live, councils not knowing who or how many people live in a property and struggling to collect, and finally the downfall of the iron witch herself. I would have thought many Conservative party members will be old enough to remember that.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 1:34 pmSmarkets did some modelling and it predicted a Penny Mordaunt victory if she is in the last 2 based on how the membership will vote using an array of data inputs. People are taking note with Mordaunt now 1.93 and Sunak 4.8.

That's why it has to be 'Liz' Derek.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 1:47 pmShe said she'll run the economy like Thatcher. Liz was asked if Johnson's a clown and she said 100% (support him).

I'm hoping a lesser-known candidate wins so I can start with a clean sheet, no animosity to the new PM, however long it lasts.

It will be a relief, once Johnson's gone, not to have the urge to insult him.
