Tennis Automation not firing if anyone would kindly help be much appreciated.

Hi all,

I hope your all good and making lots of money!!

I am relatively new to automation and have been bugging the support email here trying to set up an automation who were very helpful, but very technical lol, but for some reason its just not working and I have looked at it all multiple times, and just cant see where I'm going wrong.

If anyone wouldn't mind having a look and letting me know where I'm going wrong i'd be so grateful.

a bit of background Basically I'm trying to build a bot that I can use my lists of servers and receivers in excel I have made from stats and do the following.....for this particular market which is Clay, I have the same for grass and hard but using clay here for example purposes.

The bot should look at the list of servers and if they are in the list should then trigger the bet, only under the following conditions,

1- the opponent is not in the list of receivers
2- they won the previous game 40-0 or 40-15
3- they are not 2 games behind in the set
4- neither player is on 5 or games or 6 games.,

I ran into some issues where I thought the back bet wouldn't fire if the player also appeared on the returners list so support helped me with a solution but after completing it all which I thought seemed perfect it still isn't firing, and I cant for the life of me figure out why.

I've attached the file here in case anyone is kind enough to look and guide me as to what I'm doing wrong.

it is probably hideously set up but I'm very green at this and just really interested and fascinated by it and would love to master it.

I have had a quick look, , im noticing a lot of the names in the list have a space at the end,that will cause a issues.
Also betfair formulate the name as, 1st name initial followed by the surname
E.g
J Story
S Parker
Je Kym (except this one ,for some reason)
You will need to follow the same formatting.

Your lists should be set to a selections name not a stored value(unless im missing something from another file).

thanks that's a point however that's mainly women's tennis ive seen.

the men's in play now are written how I have them and still nothing, but thanks a lot for that input i hadn't factored that in.

EDIT - just saw what you meant about the space after the name I've amended that now, thanks for spotting that something i wouldn't have looked at, will see if that makes any difference.

I just changed the list from stored value to players name, i had that on receivers but not servers, thanks again. Im new to this and its fascinating but i miss little parts so thanks a lot for your help.

now just need to wait for another match that hits the criteria to test.

Roberto Bautista Agut is playing now against Thiem and I've that written exactly the same but nothing firing, this is what i see in the log.

I've edited previous message since posting this having made your changes so i will see if that does anything.

I have test the rule with, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Thiem they both fired correctly. I deleted the space from all 4 lists for Roberto Bautista Agut.

In the file you posted both, server and receiver lists were both set to stored value, may be worth double checking.

When it comes to testing, you may just want to cheat. Add some names that don’t meet the criteria, just to make sure things are working correctly. Then you can tidy things up when your happy its working correctly.

Working perfectly now!! those changes sorted it out, I'm so grateful, thanks so much!

made me some money also so its been working, need a few tweaks as sometimes the lay price ends up higher than the back price even with a won game, but the automation works so now just need to tweak it.
