Hi,

Looking to make a bot that places a bet but I don't want it to do it on the first 3 or 4 favourites at the start of the race.

I already store the BSP 1 second in to the race for use on another rule so will have them stored but how can I exclude the top 3 racers? I think that if I do odds greater than say favourite, 2nd favourite etc it will be as of that point in time (say 1 minute in to the race / depending on when the rule triggers) as opposed to greater than whoever the 2nd favourite was just after the off?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks.

If you aren't already placing bets on selections by order of favouritism, you can change your automation settings in your main settings area to order selections by Actual SP
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/bas ... tings.html

Then you can just apply your rule to 4th fav, 5th fav etc
or use a relative odds condition to test a selections price is greater than the 3rd fav

I want to use current favourite as well as SP favourite. Using the relative odds condition can I check the SP odds of 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc? I basically just want a rule included that says "SP of any selection that is greater than 1st, 2nd, 3rd then set a signal for that horse" then I can use that signal later on in the place bet rule? Unless there's a better / more streamlined way around it?

If you are already using the current Fav order you'll need to do add the following rule;

Update Custom Rankings rule
Assign rankings to Custom Ranking 1
Rank by Actual SP
Ascending Order

Then you'll be able to apply your rule/s to selection 4 in custom ranking 1, or selection 5 in custom ranking 1 etc
or use a relative odds condition to test a selections price is greater than selection 3 in custom raking 1

Thank you so much Dallas.

Also is there a way to use the data from the in-play trader in a bot please? Specifically the win%? Thanks.
