I heard Johnson uttered his final words so I was naturally disappointed the journalist was referring to his last words from the dispatch box. I bet his last ever words will all be lies. :)
Wasnt it 'hasta la vista baby' ?

Yes, but more importantly, his last jibe at Starmer is that he's a "pointless human bollard". Starmer said he's going to miss the delusion.

Neither insult particularly funny, but like Starmer, I'm really going to miss this delusional comical idiot. Nobody can ever replace him. :)

Membership goes with Truss hands down.

And I get to vote. :D
When did you join? You may be disappointed that new members don't have a vote.
But the buff I got said I get to vote in leadership contests. There was no small print saying otherwise. I will sue them if i not allowed my say and ask for my £25 back. 🤠
Send your application to join the Labour party now. :)

Still think Rory Stewart is the choice for anyone wanting an ethical leader. But it would seem his return to politics might be - Mayor of London?

The good thing about being a Labour supporter is that you dislike all the candidates, so every time one of them is eliminated you're a winner. :D

Somebody's still willing to back Penny and Kemi.

I've got it. People laid them when they lost, then realised their liabilities will be locked up until September. :)

My wife made a typo and put Liz Triss into Google.

Turns out it led straight to a Pornhub group page. I'm sure she won't be the only one 😁

Sunak really does have a mountain to climb and he doesn’t strike me as a fighter. Has he really ever needed to fight for anything?

I have to nail my colours to the mast here.
Sunak (or was it BJ) pumped money into the economy to mitigate Covid. The much-vaunted lack of fiscal headroom evaporated and we borrowed and spent tonnes.
But I don't see any other option than using your financial might i these moments.
Of course, Joe Bloggs is getting uppitty now and demanding pay rise too match the warped inflation we face.
But that's just cobblers. Raise wages to match inflation? I mean Durrrrrr!!!!!
