In tennis, I have made a rule to back the tennis favourite by order of favouritism above 1.50.
Sometimes it places a bet on the second favourite.
I have set the rule to place bet as soon as match goes in play, i have fixed order of markets as soon as in play.
Im abit boggled by this because i looked at the graph and the favourite was always lower odds than the 2nd favourite. And it still bet on the 2nd favourite.
Does anyone understand what is happening. Thanks
Ryan.
Why is Automation betting on wrong selection in tennis.
Are you sure the 'Fix market order' rule is always triggering? (ie, you are refreshing the markets at the time its armed)
It will show in the automation tab at the bottom of Guardian the time it's triggered, Or you could use the signal tab on that rule and set a signal on the market (and tick the write to log option) and that would be a good way to ensure it triggering
Also when is it meant to trigger?
If its as soon as they go in-play then as all the pre-off money is cancelled in close matches either player could be the 'fav' (have the lowest best back price) even if just for a fraction of a second just at the time your rule triggers
I'd set it for either the official start time or at least 15-20secs after its gone in-play to give the market chance to reform
