AFAIK greeny there’s 3 VAR officials that monitor the game, do they all have to agree or just one for the decision to progress to the ref?

Dunno. I thought the idea of VAR was to spot a clear error. That looked a stonewall foul to me. Shove in the back.

I don't remember the penalty shootout, but was that the match where a French forward had a one-on-one with the Brazilian goalie in extra time, the goalie came out of his area and did a rugby tackle?

Edit: Sorry, I think that was 78.

It was 82' and the Germany Goalie Schumacher who levelled the French player Battiston and I think left him with several cracked ribs
