yeah, just back after a one month break today. Think I need to get back to my old 3 day week, only just realising that there's definitely life to be had out there!!ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 4:12 pmHad post-holday blues since I've been back so I've booked the same again just a bit shorter.......we leave in 3 weeks

Family commitments meant that other holiday one was our first in ten years.
Worked damn hard to get the passive income and freedom.
Who knows what the world will look like next year.
My old man had a serious stroke at 55 and I'm 57
Nuf reasons I think.
Things have changed since those days. We know how to live healthy, we just don't do it.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 5:06 pmFamily commitments meant that other holiday one was our first in ten years.

.... Thought I'd try and halt the footy thread drift.......
What was interesting though was that even in the city how few spoke any English, not even young people. 15yrs ago everyone seemed to speak it, a sign of the times? There's a big world out there who do just fine without us and the yanks, and I think Spanish has now passed English as the most popular language on Duolingo.
I overdosed on Spanish before going to Barca and then found out that half of them speak CatalanTrader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 1:57 pmI took Spanish lessons just before lockdown and I've forgotten most of it!
Like you say you got to be using it or its a waste of time.

I think you'll find that Mandarin is the most used language. And it's flipping difficult. Good luck to global reps from US, Europe et al.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 3:38 pm....
