I want to place a lay bet say with 100 liability.
But I also want to place a back bet on another market that covers the liability of the lay bet.
So what method is used or is there an option to pick where it calculates the stake needed to get a return on another market the same as the liability on the lay bet?
Thank you
Ryan.
What stake method is used to calculate a return the same as liability on another lay bet?
If you want to cover your liability you need a profit, not return, of 100. so it's 100 / (price - 1).Ryanolifelix wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 5:30 pmI want to place a lay bet say with 100 liability.

I just meant whatever my liability is a certain lay bet. I want to break even using the back bet but need it auto calculating. I'm not looking for a profit I'm looking to break even if I don't win the lay bet

Just to recap.
I place a lay bet at 2.0 with £100 liability
Can betangel look at the lay bet and say ok on this other market I need to stake £10 at the current odds of 11 for £100 to get a return that is equal to the lay bet liability of £100

Can you not just enter 100 in the stake box and use back and lay liability stake?Ryanolifelix wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 7:11 pmJust to recap.

How would BA know which lay bet you want covered, given that it's in a different market and you may have more than one lay bet? You have to inform BA somehow.

I'm talking about lay the draw. And backing 1-1
I want to automate it, but I will not know the odds on 1-1 back bet to cover the lay bet on the draw.
So that's what I'm trying to figure out.

I'm thinking it has something to do with store values. I wonder if stored values stores what we have staked
Try this, it has the foundations of what you needRyanolifelix wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 7:22 pmI'm talking about lay the draw. And backing 1-1

Hi,
A very quick glance at your screen captures, I noticed that on your back bet for 1-1, the "applies to" section is blank, with no selection the back bet cant trigger.
Do you have CS market loaded in guardian?
