Today's Football
LFC 7 shots on target, 6 goals. I'm not watching this game but it seems Bournemouth are imploding, but you can only beat the team in front of you.
Can Parker do damage limitation?

I'm watching it and its a typical Scott Parker in the Premier League kind of performance. Way too open especially against the better football playing teams. Doesn't look like he's learned the lesson from his Fulham days.
Spanish 17 year old midfielder Stefan Bajcetic coming on for Liverpool. I've been looking forward to seeing this kid, supposed to be the second coming of Xabi Alonso.
That's a player I would really like to see.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 4:24 pmI'm watching it and its a typical Scott Parker in the Premier League kind of performance. Most of the premiership is shown 'live' - 30 secs or so behind on DSTV - Supersport.

On TV. Premier Sports have the rights to show a Premier League 3pm kick off every Saturday. It's an Irish channel so the 3pm blackout that's in effect in the UK doesn't apply.
Is it normal to be disappointed if you win 9-0?!

I was a little, I really wanted that 10th goal to go inTrader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 5:00 pmOn TV. Premier Sports have the rights to show a Premier League 3pm kick off every Saturday. It's an Irish channel so the 3pm blackout that's in effect in the UK doesn't apply.

Were Bournemouth bad, like manager sackingly bad, or were LFC just too good?Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 5:16 pmWould have been niceDallas wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 5:13 pmI was a little, I really wanted that 10th goal to go inTrader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 5:00 pm

Both. Parker won't be sacked on the back of one result but if he keeps playing that style of football there'll be more hidings and the pressure will build.
My impression is that Parker is trying to pressurise the owners to spend. I confess I'm less than convinced about Parker, but getting promoted does deserve respect. It does look like they are candidates for the drop. After 4 games...... doh. Such a clot sometimes.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 5:33 pmBoth.
