Firstly apologies, as I know this will already be covered on the forum but I have scoured away and not found a specifc answer. I can't download any of the current templates / files at the minute (don't ask), so can't learn from the pre-made files.

After having issues with stop losses not getting filled, i read that i should be adding a 'green-up' condition as this provides a more robust safety net. Within 'Condition Type' I have selected the 'Green all profit condition', however when i select a negative number i.e. green all profit is less than -£10 the automation does not trigger.

It appears to be an issue with the negative number, as when i set this to positive i.e. less than £10, it does trigger.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It won't be the negative number stopping it, you need to use one if you want it to trigger if you are in a loss

Have you checked your arm times or any other conditions you are using?

Thank you for responding

Parameters:
Arm trigger at 00:00:10
Until 00:01:00
Allow rule to trigger 1

Conditions:
The market is in-play
Green all profit if less than or equal to -£10

Perhaps it is the allowing rule to trigger only once that is the issue, the intention here is for the lay bet to be placed only once 10 seconds in but then the 'Green all' to be applied thereafter

Sorry to dwell on this, seem to be making progress but one or two things i could do with refining.

I have managed to green up if the loss is less than a predetermined amount. This works the majority of the time, however sometimes this does not get matched, so i have set my green up rule to trigger multiple times every second to make sure i get matched. This has led to another issue where sometimes I get matched twice when trying to hedge, resulting in a larger loss.

Is there a way to trigger 'green up' multiple times in quick succession as to protect against sudden rice drops, but then also find a way to ensure this doesn't get matched multiple times resulting in an overhedged position? Almost need a fill or kill to say, if initial green up not matched within 1 second then kill but i can't seem to see this functionality as 'Green All Selections' doesn't have this visible in the Parameters section.

When placing any bets in-play you need to account for Betfairs in-play bet delay, in horse racing its 1 second (double if using stakes below their min). so I'd always advising using a re arm time in horse racing markets of at least 3 secs (4-5secs if you'll be placing bets below BF's min stake), that also allows for any brief delays in retrieving the latest bet status from Betfair

When a green up order is sent it will cancel all unmatched bets in a market so will prevent you getting matched twice, if you trigger it before the previous green up bet has even reached the market then it can't cancel a bet not yet in the market so you'll end up with two bets eventually arriving
