Why does automation not include market outcomes?

I've been using guardian for a couple of weeks and I like it so much I have bought a years subscription.
However one thing that I am struggling to understand is why market outcomes on selections cannot be checked?

I have used the Betfair api-ng for many years and I know it's possible to check for winner or loser of a selection in a market (I do it all the time). so why can't guardian do it?

It can

Here's just a few of the Guardian layout examples that use it

and a few automation examples which also use it

Thanks but what I'm after is to be able to condition it in a rule in Guardian
For example in a football strategy I might want to place a bet on a half time market then, depending on whether it won or lost perform a subsequent bet for the rest of the match.
Why isn't it possible to build that as a condition or be able to set the outcome status in a stored value?

That's exactly what those two automation files i linked to do

The bottom on in particular checks for the winner at market closure and stores the name of the jockey (you can store whatever you want)
The rule in the next market then has a condition which checks that and triggers accordingly

So you just get the win status of your HT market and/or your P&L
and use either or both as conditions of your next rule
