How can I place a bet for as little as 5p on BetAngel ?

Can someone please tell me how you can place a lay for less than £2 please?

Using the dutching screen, select the runner and put the stake in the stake area of the dutching screen, then click place bet.

You need to place a bet for £2 away from the current price (e.g. at 1.01) and then edit the odds/stake to what you want as far as I know.
