She's a bigger laughing stock than Johnson now.
I'm struggling to describe this whole fiasco. Oh, there you go, it's a fiasco.
I do hope HIGNFY have been able to react to today's events. It's comedy gold.

Thatcher was right, you can't buck the market. But the market can f**k you! (The last sentence was mine, not Thatcher's).

She wasn't decisive when selecting questions.

She was very selective in the four journalists she allowed to ask a question and you could see she was never gonna let Ruth Beth ask a question.

If she keeps acting this decisively there will be no economy left

"I am determined to deliver what I promised" is her standard answer to any question now.

She won't, she's finished. Hunt is next PM? Who'd have thunk it?
Personally a Sunak/Hunt team would suit me right now. Not great or in any way my political preference, but for stability and some common sense I think it could work.

A brief word of caution for anyone wanting to type in "Liz Truss meme" on Twitter

Don't do it or you will miss today's entire trading session

Dont forget, Truss put forward all her economic policies at those hustings, when she was running against Sunak. And the Tory membership was very happy with what they were hearing. Rishi explained to them it was fantasy economic, the party faithful didnt care.

The lesson is that these small group of members cannot be allowed to choose a PM ever again

She claims she went further and faster than the market can cope with!

We all know that results in a blown bank Mrs Truss!!

You beat me to it. Was it 120,000 of them ? Have that number in my head. I'm picturing middle class, tweed wearing, Daily Mail readers. Exactly the sort of people who would be great choosing a new local W.I chairwoman NOT the leader of the country
