UK General Election 2024 (or 25)
This might help explain her vocabulary, I found it on Twitter of all places : https://twitter.com/MrMichaelSpicer/sta ... 4749243394Derek27 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 5:12 pmI'm convinced Truss is a robot. Her vocabulary seems limited as such. "I am determined to deliver", "I acted decisively", "What I have done today", "I have acted in the national interest", etc.
The only time she ever will genuinely act in the national interest is when she resigns.![]()
Don't know who that man is but he is a genius

If she wants growth how about delivering some of those post-Brexit trade deals she promised. It's very much not done. How can you grow if you've left the wife but sleep in your car?
And "jobs"? . Unemployment hasn't been lower since 1974, but if you just change the way you count them you need "better" jobs if you want any tax revenue.
The GE vote winner would be a £15 min wage, and a return to free market economics rather than subsidising company wage bills via working tax credits. When Gordon Brown introduced them in 1999 they cost the revenue £1.1bn....and now people are so underpaid they cost us over £30bn (source FullFact).

Although I didn’t think it would be this quick.
Her only get out of jail card is to do what Mrs ‘T’ did in the 1980s and go to War.
Unfortunately that could be the end for us all. Therefore, if I were the men in dark/white suits then I would whisk her away quickly before she asks the cat for the launch codes. You are clearly bonkers! War as a solution is pretty much proven to be a crap idea. It's usually a last resort against agressors that should have been removed from power by their own people.
True. But Argentina didn't have nukes.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 6:06 pmIt worked for Maggie.greenmark wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 4:59 pmArchery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 4:53 pmI did warn people that Truss would be a disaster many months ago.

Truss will be replaced by end of next week.
There is small print in the rules that says if MPs send letters saying they won’t back the budget then she can be replaced with no leadership contest.

Are we about to see Derek’s worst nightmare.
Boris and Sunak to return………

Boris and Sunak to return………
I wouldn't have a problem with Johnson coming back. There have been so many probes into Partygate I've lost count, but there's still one ongoing. Hopefully he'll be plagued with it from day one.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 6:59 pmAre we about to see Derek’s worst nightmare.
