This natos flag above the toilet makes this picture very ambiguous (from italian plumber point of view) --->.

At least it makes it clear where the world is heading.

Elon’s SpaceX says it can no longer pay for critical satellite services in Ukraine, asks Pentagon to pick up the tab : https://edition.cnn.com/2022/10/13/poli ... index.html

Starlink has suffered major outages across the frontline which has directly hampered the Ukrainian offensive over the past 2 weeks, since Starlink is their primary means of communication.

In other words, Elon is bleeding money and wants a swift resolution to the conflict, either way.

I'm just spitballing here but maybe Elon should just fix his damn internet???? If he wants to end this quicker.

But who are we to argue against his logic? Billionaires are never wrong. They do not have feelings and insecurities like the rest of us, and they definitely don't feel that a nuclear conflict is the only thing that can threaten their wealth and status.

What is Putin up to? First he blames the west for all the nuclear rhetoric and says it needs to stop! Then he announces the conscript programme is over even though he's only got 50 of them. Now he's saying he's not firing any more missiles at Kyiv for now. Quite a change in tone.

I'd like to think he realises he's not going to get enough conscripts and he's running out of missiles.

I've been watching Our World, about Russia's last opposition TV station. Those Russian newsreaders were more beautiful than the ones you get on Sky.

U.S. Department of State claims that 260,000 Ukrainian children have been abducted from their homes and put up for adoption inside Russia.

And here I thought they were only stealing grain and washing machines. What's the end goal here? To fix their demographics and make up for the losses? Abhorrent in every imaginable way.

If the main goal of this proxy war is a regime change within Russia then it has my blessing.

Some possible reasons:

1. He running out of kit and thinks the public will turn against him if he leaves his troops in Ukraine over winter to basically freezing to death with no ammunition, food or medical supplies.

2. He wants to get the troops out as he planning a low yield nuclear missile strike as asked to do by the Chechen leader fighting on the ground who has lost shit loads of his own men.

3. Turkey has been putting allot of pressure on him behind the scenes to negotiate a settlement.

4. The UK, USA, Germany and now Israel are sending air defence systems to stop the avalanche of cruise missiles he been sending and realises there is no point in firing them. Waste of valuable kit which he may need later on against NATO maybe.

Being serious it could be a combination of all of the above although I hope he not planning option 2. :(

Everybody gets frightened when they hear of the use of nuclear weapons, but low-yield nuclear devices, putting aside the fear of escalation, aren't that effective on the battlefield. One kiloton of rockets, missiles and artillery shells would do far more devastation as the explosions can be spread out over square miles rather than blasting one place with a small destruction radius. Ukraine forces are good at spreading themselves out and converging before launching an attach so they're not easily targeted.

To feed Steven Seagal, of course. But, Ron, you should change your news source - it stinks!

What I find really strange is that they don't block this kind of news in a local media.

A deal was done 3 weeks ago at German army base. The USA has purchased the iron dome system on behalf of Ukraine.
