Well I am just glad they created the Customer Commitment:
https://promotions.betfair.com/customer-commitment/
They have kept everyone really well informed haven't they
JG - Think we should refer to it as PC3 as by rights we have already had PC2 - the scrapping of the £1,000 yearly allowance.

Any news from the chimps at Betfair. I hear the settlement could be delayed by 40-60% but nobody is sure?

Errr WTF:

Wasn't what my web page or API was showingBetfair wrote:Due to an exchange issue between 4pm and 4.10pm this afternoon, the in-play icon on horseracing markets for the above events did not appear at the “off” for each and it may have seemed to customers that the markets were not turned in-play. However relevant markets were turned in-play at the correct times for each, with the Betfair SP reconciled and unmatched bets cancelled at that point. Therefore bets matched in-play will stand and these markets have now been settled.

So now we also need to be mind readers as to when a market's really in play and whether betfair will honour those bets at the end of the day.

And the footage of David Yu's last presentation to the board before he thought it was time to leave:

The race did turn in play but there was no notification. Naturally we are supposed to know that Another lame Betfair offering

I don't buy that. They said recently they had a clear set of rules, the market was clearly not in play and you could see that nobody else thought so either.
Due to an exchange issue between 4pm and 4.10pm this afternoon, the in-play icon on horseracing markets for the above events did not appear at the “off” for each and it may have seemed to customers that the markets were not turned in-play. However relevant markets were turned in-play at the correct times for each, with the Betfair SP reconciled and unmatched bets cancelled at that point. There were 100% Pre race amounts showing on my API and Website and on neither was the SP showing as being reconciled.
Was this the same as what others were seeing?
