You damn right, Kai. Instead of extensive Space exploration and some random alien's ass kicking, our elites or top class manipulate us into head-butting with each other, and for what? - for staying at the top of the hierarchy even at the cost of general degradation. Have they completely forgotten how to dream?
Depressing stuff(.
Don't be depressed. Get rid of Putin then we can start on the plutocrats
The spanish co-ops used to limit the income of the richest employee to 3 times that of the lowest paid.
That would cause havoc in the UK. But it is perhaps closer to a sustainable society than what we have currently.
I'm not sure that this is achievable due the globalism. Middle class should somehow crystallize true leaders and learn how to use lower class to change things dramatically. But I don't know how to unite such a huge masses, is it even possible?
Only thing I know is you and I should not ever face each other with guns. It's just a dumb strategy. Just think of what those young Ukrainian and Russian soldiers that have lost their lives could have achieved. It's scandalous!

Former RAF pilots caught training Chinese pilots and giving away military secrets for salaries of £240K. As yet, there's no law against it!

- 30% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure destroyed by drones and cruise missles. Some experts think, if that continues, it could cause an exodus of migrants across Europe.
We need to bag our fair share of them now. :D

The official secrets act doesn't cover every single piece of information you absorbed during service does it?
These guys are not teaching people how to fly or what tech our jet fighters have. It seems it's about our tactics in combat. That may actually by very useful but I doubt it's covered by the Official Secrets Act. Also, I doubt these guys are likely to pass on any gold. I would suggest you have to be pretty committed to fly a fighter jet. And anyone taking that Chinese money may just be playing them.

It’s 48 pages long and covers a multitude of stuff. Maybe I am wrong but I would have thought it covers combat tactics. Maybe it doesn’t. Dunno.

It could end up a complete mess in Ukraine.

Republicans have said if they do well in the November midterm elections then they will block further funding.

If USA pulls out then I would think Europe will to as none of them can financially afford it either.

If I had a fight with Tyson Fury lined up, the best advice one of his insiders could give me would be to not turn up on the night.

I think that's the advice the Chinese airforce will get, don't take to the skies. :D

Me neither. It goes back to 1889. My point though was that fighter pilots are a different breed. It's not about exploring the world and gaining useful skills for the future. You fly a jet and you're a sitting duck. Also you have to accept you will be the instrument of death for whoever tells you to kill. That is a big deal IMO.
And I would like to believe that means these guys would not share anything crucial. But I could well be wrong.

This may be a naive question, but why does any increase in demand (post covid in the BBC article) HAVE to push up prices ?
It still cost the same amount of labour and time etc to produce a barrel of oil. The amount of oil required by each country is relatively similar, however much oil is produced.
OPEC set the output for a set period of time, knowing that a reduction will drive prices, and therefore profits, up

If the oil consuming countries could all get together and agree a flat rate they would pay, regardless of circumstances then OPEC would have to stop the production quota shenanigans. Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen. Good old free market economics.

There has been a serious falling out between Zelensky and Biden over long range weapons.

In response Ukraine has unveiled a 1,000km range drone and pledges to unleash hundreds of them against Moscow.

Things could get extremely serious in the next few days/ weeks.

Iranian forces are in Crimea training/assisting Russians to use their drones.
