Hi,
The fastest updated free site i`ve found is odds comparision.com but be wary because bookmaker prices and betfair prices quite often move in oppersite directions. best of luck greg

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the link and advise. I am curious to see if there is any correlation between the exchanges and the bookmakers.

luck to all,

It's Betfair prices that lead and bookies that follow.

However, I tend to keep an eye on the prices as a guide and they are helpful in certain situations.

I use http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/liveshows/. It refreshes about every 10 seconds or so but you have to remember that what you're seeing is still quite likely out of date.

Hi Groovy,

Are you thinking of arbitrage?

Did you want software that updates in real-time, using bookmakers own XLM feeds?

Hi

How do you access the fast bookmaker feeds please
That would seem quite useful as a check where the market is going

Years ago i bought a piece of software called price-it which did just that

Pinnacle Sports used to provide an XLM feed (if you go to their web site you will see the XML feed at the bottom)...
Just had a quick look and although it used to readily accessible to joe public, it looks like you now need to be an affiliate??

Anyway, if it helps, I tried looking down this path a couple of years ago. The update feed is only every 5 seconds so the odds have usually moved on betfair before you get the info and then act upon it!
