UK General Election 2024 (or 25)
I think we're on the same page. But BJ's supporters claiming things has to be reported. The claims have to be open to public scrutiny.Emmson wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 3:57 pmBecause it's not credible based on public declarations, clearly someone in the Boris camp has been in his ear, if he said from a Boris insider I might give him a pass.greenmark wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 3:49 pmWhy? I't's precisely what has been reported on the Live BBC stream. Or have I misunderstood (quite likely)?Emmson wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 3:38 pmA BBC Political Editor should not be sending out tweets like that imo

Falling Standards
BJ's team briefing that BJ has his 100 lined up is then described as hogwash and that is then reported. What's the problem?
Mason then reported the counter-claims that 100+ for BJ was hogwash.
People like Mason don't make the news, they report what stake-holders in any issue have to say.

I don’t think Boris will run, instead telling his supporters to back Penny who the membership will also back.
Might be a part racist thing with the membership, they really don’t like Sunak.

As much as I despise the Tory party they're pretty much integrated with Sunak's popularity, Kwarteng getting the job as chancellor and Truss getting the top job. Just a shame they were both disasters!Archery1969 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 5:16 pmI don’t think Boris will run, instead telling his supporters to back Penny who the membership will also back.

Patel: "Boris has the mandate to deliver our elected manifesto and a proven track record [of lying and] getting the big decisions right. I'm backing him in the leadership contest".
His biggest decision by far was whether or not to obey his own lockdown rules, after all, it cost him the job he desired all his life - and he got it wrong, multiple times!!
