once the markets are added to Guardian , is there a short cut key that highlights and selects the next market ?
I'am aware of the posibility of filtering , adding and selecting the market of interest using the Market type editor, as long as i fill in and specify in advance . BUt I'am more interested in the market only if its next on the active list in guardian ,regardless of its type.
--- the idea is to load the next market and apply automation with specified display options using a single stroke .--
-. Delete all suspended markets ..............key shortcut (A)
-. Apply a selection market filter ........ ....key shortcut (A)
-. Add the selection (s) to Guardian .........key shortcut (A)
-. select the selection (s) if next ..............key shortcut (A)
-. Apply automation rules on selected.....key shortcut (A)
-. Display one click.....................................key shortcut (A)
-. Display In-play trader..............................key shortcut (A)
much thanks

when working manually the arrow keys does the job of moving up down while the mouse does the highlighting bit .
i am looking for a short cut key that does the same job .
forgive my over-explanation ...

all is working but not the selection in guardian ... the automation is not running on the market showing in guardian ...
the short cut is opening the market on one screen and the ladder , but not running the automation .

Have you got the 4th and 5th rules columns displayed in Guardian?
Also looking at the name of the second rules file you are trying to apply it looks like its a Servant rules file?
If it uses Servant Context anywhere then it can't be applied to a market in Guardian
You'd need to create a rules file which opens a market and starts a Servant - which would mean you could drop the last few shortcuts as the rule will open one of the screens

yes
the one file with servant name is not a servant rule... its a guardian counter part to a servant. they both compliment each other to perform joint automation. the servant depends on the rule as a condition .

This was something I was trying recently.
What I end up having to do was
Set an alert, (tick) Automatically scroll guardian to show alert. This highlights the market in guardian. Put that before your hotkey rule.

setting an alert requires a guardian file that is targeted towards a market. the process of selecting that market and highlighting so that the alarm can pick up an activity happening within guardian, is the bit iam struggling with.
i have tried starting a servant that sets the alarm using the rule file , but it doesnt seem to activate the selection process in guardian.
keep you posted .......
I know that feeling.

I think this solution that should work in theroy, I have made a file that numbers the markets and a servant that looks at that number and adds 1. The file then looks at the servants SV for a match.
Its quite a basic file , so may need some fine tuning.
There is some issue with where the file starts in relation to guardians cycle(some markets are out of order). That’s something you may have to experiment with. I may trying adding a time till off condition, but that’s for another day.
You will also need to make sure the next market is refreshing guardian, so that the servant works.
Guardian file ,solo or add to existing file. Servant, can be used as a servant or added to a guardian file , just add conditions (I was testing it in the servant manager in the control tab)
Just press and it will open the next market ,highlight it.

spot on !

working great !
i had to scratch my head to know why the file wasnt working even though everything made sense.
took me a whole Hour trying ,just to find out the guardian set up was missing the Alert colunm thus stalling the trigger

Thanks again Dabbla .
