The league is practically already an Arab playground. Can only get worse.

I'm down with Elon Musk buying the club, as long as he promises not to fire Klopp via club email :)

Too soon Mr Fox

It's been a freaky stat : "With Jürgen Klopp as manager, Liverpool have exclusively been knocked out of the Champions League by clubs from Madrid. The one season they didn't play a club from Madrid, they won the Champions League - in Madrid."

Herr Klopp is good at finishing second. Has won loads. Has finished second even more. It's a a shame because he's been a breath of fresh air and I personally would have liked to see him win even more. Left a few putts out there so far.

I backed over at 4.3 after Osasuna scored and laid it at 3.65 because some idiot thought the goal might be disallowed. His back bet would have been voided if it was.

Do you trust Betfair to always treat bets affected by VAR decisions in the same way?

They usually do. I meant to say I backed "under". It's safe to back under after a goal and lay it at a shorter price but I'd be weary of laying it and trusting Betfair would void the bet if the goal's disallowed. Temped to try it though. :)

Liverpool drifted a bit again, did not quite get enough matched on that move considering the size of opportunity.

If the club becomes state-owned as well these sorts of preoff opportunities could get scarce! Fans seem more anxious than excited about the future.

Putting out a bunch of kids, I guess? Did the same last year so probably should have seen it coming.

Just the market realizing it's going to be a much weaker lineup than expected.

Even without the longer term injuries Liverpool usually prefer to use domestic cups to develop their kids, they can't put together 2 world class lineups like City can. They count on the Anfield crowd to carry them through.

Interesting, but I would have thought the market would have known that from the get go !
