Hi

Sometimes when I use offsetting by one tick it places the offset bet two ticks away for some reason. Just now I place a back bet at 7.8 for £10 which was filled, and the offset bet was automatically placed at 7.4 instead of 7.6. Anyone know what could be causing this?

I've had that problem too

I must admit, I often get this problem

It seems to occur when I change the offsetting figure from one trade to the next, BA appears to get a little confused when I return to the original setting

I've experienced this too on a few occasions when I was experimenting with offsets. I just drag and drop the money to the right place in the ladder whenever it happens. I think it might have something to do with the price, i.e. the higher the increments the more likely it is to happen, but that's just an observation and could just be a coincidence that it has always occurred for me on higher priced runners.

Nobody has written into support about this? If you send in a log along with how you were affected we can have a look. We haven't seen this at all in our trading so would be interested in seeing an example.

I don't think anyone has written in as it is not a huge problem, just an occasional glitch (offsetting by 1 extra tick). I don't use offsetting anymore and tend to manually close out, but if I do use the offset and it does happen again I'll make note and send support the details.
