It's certainly the best start to a WC since 1966, until today we've only ever scored 3 goals in the opening match once and that was against France in 82
Since then its been 1s and 0s except on 2 occasions we played Tunisia and score twice on each occasion

Can we just take a moment to take in that the iranian team didn't sing their national anthem - they have risked a bit more than a yellow card.

would not be surprised if they turned up at our embassy/consulate claiming political asylum.
