Was thinking how to call USA v Wales and then realised its a nation of 330 million v 3 million.
By that logic China and India would be winning major tournaments :)

Some serious amounts of injury time being played in the games so far.
Wonder how that will affect the statistical models 🤔

Lots of fans turning upto stadiums with rainbow armbands being prevented from entering unless they put them in bins outside.

Stop making the sign of the cross on the pitch. This is a Muslim country. Have you no respect?

Yes there is no logic to that comment.
American football, basketball and probably baseball have higher profiles and are preferred destinations for athletes in the US.
But also Indians spend a great deal more time and energy just surviving, never mind pursuing a sporting career. Ditto China.
And judged on the result the Welsh know a lot more about footy than Americans.

Tell you what though. Those two are a bigger challenge than Iran. Iran put 2 past England with a quarter of possession. When the euphoria of 6-2 wanes I hope the England camp get to work on how to beat Wales and USA. Just hope Southgate doesn't wimp out and he allows Saka/Bellingham etc to go for it.

If anyone 's doing a sweepstake and you get the chance to pick the time of the first goal, it'll be worth choosing the 45th minute that's for sure.

Good point about the injury time. Averaging 9 minutes so far.

flipping hell, I just heard that deranged FIFA president talked for an hour. Listening to him for 2 minutes was unbearable.
Perhaps the deranged lunatic has a point. Homosexuality was illegal in England, in 1966!!
