LGBT rights should have secretly changed their colours to black with pink polka dots and only published the meaning of the protest after the match. :)

Kane and Bale have pulled out of wearing the rainbow colours after FIFA threatened sanctions, two months after the request. Even Betfair respond quicker than that!
this doesn't bode well nor represent the beliefs and core values that sport is supposed to engender... really disappointed. god literally help anyone who is walking the streets in Qatar and happens to be wearing a non self colored tshirt!! worst case scenario, if fines are an issue, then lets start a #gofuckthem page!
The answer to this should we shouldn't we is really simple. Whoever wins the title does the protest as they receive the trophy.
FIFA will take the trophy away and officially disqualify them as winners. :)

But it seems many nations are pushing their luck as far as they can. Even if it's not very far it's causing huge and constant embarrassment, with black tracksuits and the word "love" being banned. A team that turns up in white tee shirts and blue jeans could find themselves accused of protesting. But I suspect that any liberal nation that lifts the trophy will probably capitalize on the opportunity, so long as they're not completely blown away with the euphoria.

Those Argentine forwards are really cool at beating the goalie. Just a shame they haven't learnt the offside rule!
After drinking 10+ cans and hearing of Qatar celebrating their neighbour's success, it all makes sense now. How much were the Argentine forwards bribed to make sure they were offside when the goals went in? :)

I didn't see the 2nd half but it seemed to me that without VAR Argentina would have won easily.
Perhaps the Saudi worldy goal should have been saved but it looked pretty good from most angles.
If you're right it would suggest Saudi and Argentina go through. A top team and another of top bribers.
Crikey, thats depressingly cynical even for me.

I've got £2 on Iran (inadvertently) so hopefully they might be in on the deal as well. :)

Y, it seems a bit odd so long being added

If anyone 's doing a sweepstake and you get the chance to pick the time of the first goal, it'll be worth choosing the 45th minute that's for sure.

Good point about the injury time. Averaging 9 minutes so far.
fox, may i respectfully suggest that you change your forum handle to *weartherainbowhat* for the duration of the WC :D
I'd probably get slammed into an arabian peninsular gulag (is there such a thing)....

The market doesn't fancy Germany right now. There's been quite a lot of money for Japan over the past hour

Scratch that, I can see it on the official FIFA pages.

Dunno if Japan will be able to maintain 1-1 now but they've been above their fifa ranking for sure.
Pressing and countering is one the strategies we like to see I reckon.

From a novice football trader, will this result affect the Spain price? Similar to how it sometimes can happen when a shortie is beat in the racing. What a result by the way!

Some of the 'to qualify' from group markets are looking quite interesting ;)
