Arbaawi steamed in from 8s (10 mins out) to about 2.7s at the off, in a competitive handicap...Talk about gambles ;)

Kempton abandoned.

When you see Southwell running in all weather conditions and against the odds. You have to wonder WTF all these other courses are up to!

Presumably the term "All Weather" is false advertising for several tracks !

This feels like the end of an era, I'm not sure how many after him will have the same celebrity status and be a household name.

But its strange how some people are vilified for taking Arab money and others aren't. I'm not making a judgement but Man City, Newcastle and the World Cup have made people uneasy but the horseracing world never has as far as I know.

I'm sure if you told anyone you're going to the Dubai Carnival, most people would say, what's that?

Yeah it's never spoken about much but horse racing has been sports washing Arab money for decades

Hawthorne r4 went in-play then suspended and went pre-off again only to go in-play 5 seconds before the finish, the winner was 5/2 but BSP was 1.29 so if you have a stinging loss that is why

Normally BF take these back but I guess going in-play 5 secs before the finish means they can just move on
