Say there are 20 odd selections and you want to lay 10 to some Max Liability each.

I have a bot that will do this where the Max Liability per selection is set as a stored value, but if it gets a good fill rate across the lay selections the net position of each selection falls, e.g. if the Max Liability is set to 3k & I have say 6 selection at or near 3k each the net position could be c2k each (but I want the net position to be 3k).

The only way I've found to manage this is to increase the Max Liability to say 4k..(which means monitoring the automation as it runs).

If I don't get a good fill rate, say only 1 or two selections at Max Liability then net position is roughly where I want it to be...

Am I missing a trick here, i.e. should be conditioning on something other than Liability to manage the situation when fill rate good?

Is your stored value continually updating so it knows what size bets to keep placing?

These examples might help fill in the gaps for you

Yes, the staking isn't the issue, just monitoring net liability via automation..

I set up the servants you linked as well - thanks )

Maybe I'm missing something obvious or not explaining this very well...

Does the examples you post does not have the same issue (?), i.e. you could lay 1 selection for 3k, but as soon as you start laying another selection the net position of the 1st selection starts to reduce (if only 1 winner in market)? Gross position is fine - its still 3k but net position will be reduced by whatever you lay on other selection?

(ofc it could just me being not properly understanding how selection "liability" handled)

Thanks for looking at this Dallas but don't spend too much time on it - have a workaround..

edit - ah I might be a moron, just noticed I have another stored value called "liability" which is not the same as the BA "liability" variable.. doh...
