Hey all,
So I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to set up a scalping bot for Football - Match Odds and Horse Racing - Win markets. I've come across a few set-ups online and tested them on all markets but the strike rate is way too low (less than 50%) so selecting the right markets would be too difficult. Ideally I need it to...
- Scalp only on a selection if the price has been bouncing back and forth a few ticks
- Back first and then lay on higher odds (choose only steamers at higher odds)
- Lay first if the odds are lower and it's drifting
- Be able to scalp multiple times on a selection if the criteria is still being met
Also are Football odds good enough for scalping or should I just leave this strategy to horse racing and if any one could gives tips on how to select the right events for this strategy?. I need it to be automated as I don't have time to sit at my PC scalping all day. Cheers.
I hate to say this, but if you don't have hours of time to sit at your PC it's not going to be easy developing automation. Nobody produces a moneyspinner in ten minutes.
You have two options. You can download one of Dallas's examples that does something similar and modify it to suit your needs or you can create a rules file from scratch. Either way I'd suggest you put down on paper
exactly what you want the bot to do.
Which selection do you wish to scalp? Precisely what conditions do you enter (overround, money available, etc.)? What is the high/low prices that result in backing or laying first? How many ticks should the price bounce to trigger a trade? Once you've set out your criteria you should find Bet Angel has all the conditions and system SVs to create a rule to fire an opening bet, with another to detect an open trade and close.
