Hi
I’d like to be able to set a condition where a back bet is only placed if the price on my selection is above a pre-determined value.
This value will vary based on the selections SP.
So, I’d like to store the selections SP, then, for example at end of set 1, back my selection only if their price is above my preset value.
Eg, if fav SP is 1.80, back at end of set 1 only if price is now 3 or above. There would be 4 or 5 variations on this based on the fav sp.
Is this possible?!
Rule to place bet based on SP and current price
Yes, just use a Set/Modify stored value rule to store the SP with the adjustment you want (ie, plus 10 ticks, or plus 25% etc)
Then on your back bet rule add the following two conditions
Stored Value Condition
Selections back price is greater than
the stored value named XXXX
Tennis fixed score condition
Sets 1-0
Games 0-0
Points 0-0
I'm not sure which tennis markets Betfair have SP betting on and how far down the levels of competition they do it for, but when there's no SP you could just stored the LTP before it goes in-play

Thank you Dallas - I was hoping to be able to be more prescriptive in terms of the entry price and not just x% above sp.
This is because I have set ‘bands’ of sp that I work to, for example if fav sp is between 1.20 and 1.40, I need a price of at least 3 to back them after set 1.
I basically have 5 of the ‘bands’ and then 5 related minimum back prices if the fav loses set 1.
Is it possible?
Thanks
Tom
