Fastest keyboard in the west here
Wonder if it was a bookmaker, they use Betdaq oncourse I understand. It wasn't Pro Punter Matt Williams or whatever his name is, we know that for sure
Is it my imagination or is Betfair quieter and Betdaq busier especially this evening?

I'm going to have a good look at the data from that race and see if it captured everything. The thing that caught me out was why didn't the cross matching stop the book from flying overround on Betfair. Very odd? Looked like a cock up of some sort?

I didn't really notice the stuff on Betfair tbh as I was concentrating on Betdaq. But that does sound odd.

Only £50,000 matched on Betfair on the next Wexford market with less than a minute to the offsweetybt wrote:Early Irish markets are very thin on Betfair.

Not even £60,000 at off time

Now I don't keep records but that is low by anyone's standards.

There really does seem to be a shift beginning. Take this Newmarket race, nearly £1k available to take at 5.8 on Betdaq yet it is 5.5 on Betfair.

Nice win to end the day on of £36 which is equal to a £90 win on BF @ 60% PC:

Andy,
Well done on the various print screens of your results - inspiring to many of us smaller traders - those are really good - Betfair deserve to get stitched up for their PC antics - lets hope things keep building up on purple - Betfair will be starting to get in a real panic before too long at this rate!

Cheers for the comments ARV.
Just so people don't start thinking I am winning all the time I am not, I traded 27 races tonight on Betdaq pre race and won on 21 and lost on 6 (a higher number of losses than I would normally expect tbh). The worse loss was £11.19 but most were only 1 ticks worth. Overall I made a respectable 3 figure amount and am only paying 1.5% commission due to being mainly a market maker. Hopefully I can get this down to 1% without too much effort. Much better than having to pay a Premium Charge of anywhere from 20% to 60%.
These wins weren't achieved using a big bank by the way.
You do have to be more patient I am finding but it does seem to be picking up I think and you can scalp with patience. I am missing a good few features on the software but hopefully we will have more feature rich software soon.
I would say it is defiantly worth a look.

Well done - I wish I had the same result but not this time. I did alright on some of the other races to just make it in the black for the day so not complaining too much as I only downloaded the software a few days ago and I am getting used to what it can do.
I can definitely see some potential here though and to be honest I like it that Betdaq lets you close out down to 50p on long odds horses which suits my current low (read very low) stakes.

Yes defo worth a look - I traded the horses on Monday but have had 4 days off since (I mainly trade football on Betfair so I often have a lot of time off in the summer) - what is that MM commission of 1.5% - can you explain?
I can't see any point working to give 60% back to BF if you're >£250,000. Anybody who still trades under those circumstances are kidding themselves. If you can afford it - it has to be worth taking a bit less for a while and sticking at BQ and in a little while it will be better & better.
