Posting a link to an alternative forum

I would like to post a link to a different forum for the general entertainment of all! what is the protocol on this topic?

I am not a mod but I would say that if it is to another trading forum it would be common courtesy not to post it.

Links to other sites are often posted though, say for example a funny youtube video.
